Thracian niches

Overview

They were cut in the sandstones on the left bank of the river Varbitsa, immediately after the bend on the bridge after the village of Krilatitsa in the direction of Fotinovo. There the river has a very wide river terrace. The niches are 6 in number, of different sizes. Shortly after them, about 200 meters in the rocks there are ancient carvings, gutters and a rock tomb. Note: The area is accessible, close to the asphalt road. They are difficult to see due to overgrown trees before felling.
