Houses from the end of the 19th century
Overview
As in many isolated places in the Eastern Rhodopes, houses built of stone with stone slabs on the roof and original chimneys have been preserved to this day. Between the houses there is an old road built of cobblestones, part of an ancient road connecting the interior of the country with White Sea Thrace. Some of the houses have been declared a cultural monument.
