Overview

Kozareva mound, near the town of Kableshkovo, dates from the beginning of the Eneolithic - V millennium BC. Excavations have uncovered the southern parts of two large, partially dug, Late Eneolithic buildings. Many interesting and valuable objects were found, which are supposed to have been used to make dishes.

A necropolis from the early Eneolithic was also found nearby. There are eleven graves, four of which are ancient / III century BC / and seven Eneolithic / V thousand BC /. The bones in two of the ancient tombs were deformed due to syphilis, but the study found that syphilis was not the cause of death.

А skeleton with strong deformation of one leg, an iron bracket under it, is a curiosity because it proves the advanced level of medicine in those times.

Another curiosity is the small bronze coin found in the mouth of one of the buried. It belongs to the Celtic ruler Kavar, who ruled between 219 and 200 BC.
