Thracian tomb, Brodilovo village
Overview
An team of archaeologist Daniela Agre is researching an early Thracian tomb in a mound near the village of Brodilovo. The tomb is vaulted with a semi-cylindrical vault and is the only Thracian tomb in Strandzha. A masonry tomb was found next to it in a smaller mound. According to Daniela Agre, the tomb dates from the 4th century BC. and is unheard of expensive for his time driving. Most probably it belonged to a rich and influential dynasty, which controlled the extraction of copper ore in Strandzha.
