Carriage Museum

Overview

The only museum of carriages in Bulgaria is located in the town of Vratsa. It is part of the Ethnographic-Revival complex in the city. The beginning of this business in the region of Vratsa was set in 1883. by Mito Orozov and his partner, who created the first workshop. After a while Orozov bought the share of his partner and developed an independent and very successful enterprise. The products from his factory were distinguished by exceptional attention to every detail, strength and beauty. Today, many of his products have been restored and exhibited in the Carriage Museum. Here you can see a brand new carriage (made nowadays with donations) designed and drawn by Orozov and the work of the last living master of the famous Vratsa factory - Grandpa Anko Ankov.
