Peyo Yavorov's house
Overview
In September 1899, the poet Peyo Yavorov began working as a telegraph operator at the Pomorie post office (then Anhialo) and lived for rent in a wooden house by the sea. Near the house are rocks, which were a favorite place for solitude of the talented poet in his spare time.
Yavorov often comes to the rocks, where he spends hours meditating, staring at the vast expanse of the sea and drawing inspiration for his poems. The poet left the city in 1900, and the locals paid tribute to his talent by naming the rocks after Yavorov and erecting a monument on the site. Today around the monument and the rocks is built a nice little park for rest and walk.
