Overview

In Tsarevtsi there is a museum complex "St. St. Constantine Elena", consisting of a church dating from 1825 and a cell school with a carpet workshop. Tsarevtsi is a village in northeastern Bulgaria. It is located in Avren Municipality, Varna District. During the different years of its existence the village of Tsarevtsi has adopted different names - Sultanlar, Tsarevo, Sultantsi. The first secular school was built in 1872, as the old cell school turned out to be too small for the knowledge-hungry Bulgarians. Currently, the church and the school have been restored and shaped as a museum complex. In 1980, 2 mineral springs were discovered in Tsarevtsi. One of them is salty with a water temperature of 60 degrees and the other is sweet with a temperature of 38 degrees. Every year on the first Sunday of June, on the great Christian holiday of Pentecost, also known as St. Spirit, the village celebrates its holiday with a big fair.
