Dimitrovgrad is a town in Southern Bulgaria in Haskovo region, near (15 km) near the town of Haskovo. It is the administrative center of Dimitrovgrad Municipality, a regional commercial, industrial and transport center. It is located in the Thracian lowland along the Maritsa River. According to the latest data of the NSI of 31.12.2019 its inhabitants are 33 088.
