Borovo

Borovo (old name: Gorna Manastiritsa, also Gorazd, and in an even earlier period Balabanliy) is a town in Northern Bulgaria, located in Rousse District and near the town of Byala. The town is the administrative center of Borovo municipality. The altitude of Borovo is 278 m. The territory of Borovo is located at the beginning of the northeastern part of the Danube plain. Borovo, is located 50 km southwest of the regional center - Ruse.
