It falls entirely within the territorial scope of the municipality of Vetrino, the land of the village of Nevsha, with an area of 305.26 ha. Taushan Tepe is a remarkable example of a refuge of steppe vegetation that has survived here since ancient times. Here you can see dozens of rare plant species listed in the Red Book of Bulgaria, protected by the Biodiversity Act and included in the annexes of the European Habitats Directive. The important place for plants "Taushan Tepe" is a number of hills located north of the village of Nevsha, along the road to the village of Belogradets. The largest of them - Taushan Tepe (Rabbit Hill) - is 320 m high, and the neighboring hills "Tepichkite" are lower.
