Southern Gate of Augusta Trayana city
Overview
Southern gate of Augusta Trayana is solid structure in the defence system of the antique city. It was built in the second half of the second century. The tower is a square building with 8-metre sides. The ruins are originally exhibited and adapted to the modern interior of the bank hall in the administrative building of Piraeus bank.
