Overview

Momina Salza Park is located in the central part of the town of Hissarya. This is the oldest park in the city. Its territory includes several mineral springs, old and modern park architecture, as well as the remains of an ancient city. It is located on several levels. The park is named after the spring Lily of the Valley and it is associated with a legend, which is materialized in the fountain Naked Girl. It also houses the colonnade, which is a water pavilion built in 1960. an exact copy of a Roman colonnade. It is fed by the "Momina Salza" spring. On its territory there are green areas with over 300 species of plant species. There are benches for relaxation, and for the little ones there is a playground with slides and climbing frames. Thracian and Roman antiquities of the city: The fortress wall of the Roman city, the Ancient Theater with the preserved stage for ancient games, the scaffolding of an old Roman balneological center, residence and buildings for various purposes, all around healing mineral springs located in the vicinity , and each of them has its own history and preserved legend.Among them are the springs Momina Voda, Bistritsa, Toplitsa, Stublata.The park is accessible for visiting all year round.It is a favorite place for walks and cultural tourism.The entrance is free.
