Ganchovets e selo v Severna Bŭlgariya. To se namira v obshtina Dryanovo, oblast Gabrovo. Seloto ima okolo 200 zhiteli, deĭstvashto chitalishte (kŭdeto se provezhda ‘Rakiya-Magiya’), 2 magazina, 2 kŭshti za gosti, 1 tsŭrkva, kladentsi, cheshmi i grobishte V gornata makhala se namira rok klub ‘Wild Horses‘. Do kluba se namira edin ot magazinite v seloto, v neposredstvena blizost do myastoto na sŭbitieto. Osven ‘Rakiya-Magiya’ v seloto redovno se organizirat veseli sŭbitiya – kuponi za praznitsi, turnir po bridzh-belot, a minalata godina i July Morning! Prez 2013 byakha pŭrvite izdaniya na oshte dve sŭbitiya: Greyana Magiya i Kinomagiya. Nedalech ot seloto se namira ‘Divashkata koliba’, postroena ot zhitelite na seloto, kŭdeto sŭshto stavat veselbi! Imenno mestopolozhenieto e tlŭst plyus za Ganchovets, a i za tsyalata obshtina Dryanovo, kakto mnogokratno e stavalo duma v „Destinatsiya Dryanovo“. Ganchovets e na 1 km ot evropeĭski pŭt E85, po koĭto za ima-nyama 15 minuti se stiga do Veliko Tŭrnovo i Gabrovo. Ima avtobusi, ima i zhelezopŭtna gara v seloto (naskoro remontirana), taka che pŭtuvaneto do nego i ot nego ne e nikakvo predizvikatelstvo. Ima i star pŭt do grad Dryanovo, koĭto e chudesen za karane na velosiped (edva 4 km e razstoyanieto). Kŭshtite v Ganchovets sa razpolozheni na dve niva – v niskata, ravna chast, ot dvete strani na pŭtya i vŭv visokoto, na khŭlma, sled pametnika na boretsa za svobodata na Bŭlgariya Khristo Botev – Dryanovski. Shte vidite tipichnite balkandzhiĭski postroĭki – kamenen pŭrvi etazh, byala fasada, pokriv s plochi (tikli), no te ne dominirat spryamo postroenite prez poslednite 60-ina godini. Ganchovets is a village in northern Bulgaria. It is located in Dryanovo municipality, Gabrovo district. The village has about 200 inhabitants, an active community center (where ‘Brandy-Magic’ is held), 2 shops, 2 guest houses, 1 church, wells, fountains and a cemetery. The ‘Wild Horses’ rock club is located in the upper neighborhood. Next to the club is one of the shops in the village, near the venue. In addition to ‘Brandy-Magic’, the village regularly organizes fun events - holiday parties, a bridge-white tournament, and last year July Morning! In 2013 were the first editions of two more events: Heated Magic and Cinema Magic. Not far from the village is the ‘Wild Hut’, built by the villagers, where parties also take place! It is the location that is a big plus for Ganchovets, and for the whole municipality of Dryanovo, as it has been mentioned many times in "Destination Dryanovo". Ganchovets is 1 km from the European road E85, which takes 15 minutes to reach Veliko Tarnovo and Gabrovo. There are buses, there is a railway station in the village (recently renovated), so traveling to and from it is no challenge. There is also an old road to the town of Dryanovo, which is great for cycling (only 4 km away). The houses in Ganchovets are located on two levels - in the low, flat part, on both sides of the road and in the high part, on the hill, after the monument of the fighter for the freedom of Bulgaria Hristo Botev - Dryanovski. You will see the typical Balkan buildings - stone first floor, white facade, tiled roof (tikli), but they do not dominate over those built in the last 60 years. The good thing is that almost all of them are well maintained, including their yards - gardens with flowers, vegetables, trees, chickens, colorful beehives. If you want to feel the thrill of the described, to understand what is hospitality and a real idyll in the Fore-Balkans - stay for a while in the Revival house. And finally, something curious - you enter and exit the village on a bridge. There are three in total, so perhaps as a ratio between the territory of the settlement and the number of bridges Ganchovets can be measured with Budapest. For one of them there is an extremely curious story of how it was built and how these difficult facilities were built in the XVIII-XIX centuries. The church is a monument of culture and the Revival spirit of history in the region.
