Tsar Simeon's Garden

Overview

Tsar Simeon's Garden is a public park in the center of Plovdiv and is one of the favorite places for walks of Plovdiv. The garden still retains some of its original architectural elements - the great lake, the fountain of Demeter, the singing fountains and more. The garden is a monument of park art.

The garden has been declared a monument of park art. The classic fountain of the Goddess of Fertility Demeter, sculpted by the Italian sculptor Arnaldo Joki, has been preserved since its creation. The fountain is the only relic reminiscent of the First Bulgarian Exhibition, held on the site of today's park. Other famous fountains are the "Fisherman" and the "Bear".

Inside the park, with many trees, with huge and beautiful crowns, is the lake with the Singing Fountains, which in summer attracts thousands of Plovdiv residents and guests of Plovdiv.
