Overview

In the area of ​​the village of Egrek and those near it there are several stone bridges, which the locals call "Roman". These are bridges built at the end of the 18th century or the beginning of the 19th century. In the village of Egrek there are 2 bridges, one of which is three-vaulted (in the lower neighborhood) and the second - two-vaulted (in the upper neighborhood). The first is half-destroyed. The second was built by a shepherd for the good of the people. It is two-vaulted, with a road length of 13.20 m. The arches are 4.20 m wide and 2.60 m wide. It is built of processed stones, and their arches are lined with cornices of smaller flat stones. The solder is made of white mortar. A breakwater is dosed on the ladder of the bridge. Next to the bridge there is a well, which is built of stones and is covered with a large slab (tikla).
