Rock tomb
Overview
Tomb 1 has an open vestibule, which is a stepped platform 2.60 m wide in front. It narrows 1 m inwards, is now 1.5 m wide. With this width it continues for another 1 m and ends with a shallow niche dug into the rock. In its lower part is the entrance which is 1.32 m wide and 1.10 m high. The burial chamber is the fourth, trapezoidal in shape. The length of the chamber along its central axis is 2.87 m, and the width, 1.1 m on the entrance side and 2.40 m on the opposite side. Each of the walls has the shape of a trapezoid, in which the camera takes the shape of a truncated pyramid. Its height is about 1.1 m. The upper part of the chamber has a rectangular opening, 1.20 m long and 1 m wide. This opening was made together with the tomb and was probably closed with a stone cover.
Tomb 2 differs very little from the one described above. It also consists of a long open vestibule, carved as a platform, the front of which is 1.34 m wide. 90 cm inwards the passage leading to the tomb narrows and is 1.14 m wide. The vestibule is 1.74 m long and is divided by a protrusion in the middle into two parts. The opening for the entrance of the chamber was about 1 m high and also 1 m wide. The burial chamber itself, as well as the previous tomb, has at its base the shape of a trapezoid, the sides of which are slightly curved. It is 2.60 m long along its central and longitudinal axis and is 1.90 m wide at the entrance and 2.30 m wide at the opposite wall. In this tomb, as in the previous one, the chamber is cut in the shape of a truncated pyramid. It is 1.70 m high. In the upper part of the tomb there is a fourth opening, part of which is destroyed. Its dimensions are 1.06 m by 1.34 m. It was probably also closed with a stone block.
