Cave Tamnata dupka /Dark Hole/

Overview

The Temnata dupka Cave is located near the villages of Milanovo and Lakatnik, Svoge municipality. It is one of the longest caves in Bulgaria. The entrance of the cave is located on the Lakatnishki rocks. It is not suitable for tourists and because it has a labyrinthine character, you need the presence of a guide and the necessary equipment. The cave has underground rivers, lakes, waterfalls, galleries and rapids, and it is inhabited by water snails, crustaceans and beetles.

The Temnata dupka Cave is one of the most beautiful caves in Bulgaria.
