Monument to the Seventh Cavalry Regiment Orleto - Sliven
Overview
One of the symbols of Sliven is the monument dedicated to the glorious Sliven Seventh Cavalry Regiment, which participated in the Balkan, Inter-Allied and the First World War. It is rare for a monument to be called by a diminutive name. But in Sliven "Eagle" is known by all. The authors of the monument are the sculptor Nikola Dimitrov and the photographer Panayot Tsiparanov. Built essentially as a donation from the citizens of Sliven, in 1996 the monument was renovated with large donations from the National Donation Fund "13th Century Bulgaria", the Municipal Council - Sliven, the Command of the Third Army and the Open Society Club - Sliven.
