The sacred place of St. George

Overview

The sacred place is located north of the Ventsite neighborhood of the village of Kalugerovo in a wooded area, on the road from Ventsite to the Bakova Mogila neighborhood of the village of Svode. It is located on a slope with a slope to the south.
The ancestors of Marin and Georgi Vutovi in 1938 established a family sacred place in honor of St. George. A votive sign in the shape of a stele was placed, moved after the dirt road was laid between the neighborhoods.
When it was restored, it was installed incorrectly with a south-north orientation (instead of west-east). It is revered on the spot by lighting only candles. No sacrificial animal is slaughtered.
