Bridge of Crafts - Gabrovo
Overview
The Potter's Bridge is over the Sinkevitsa River, next to the building of the Gabrovo Drama Theater. It is named after the Potter's Quarter, as the area was called when the bridge was built. At the four ends of the bridge are presented typical Gabrovo crafts through sculptural compositions "Textiles" (author Mladen Miladinov), "Tanners" (author Dimitar Dimitrov), "Potters" (author Velichko Minekov) and "Builders" (author Vasil Radoslavov). Due to the bronze sculptures, the bridge got its name and is more popular as the Bridge of Crafts. The carnival procession of the Gabrovo Carnival passes through the Bridge of Crafts.
