The fountain of the convent in the town of Gabrovo
Overview
From July 31 to August 7, 1959, the Annunciation to the Blessed Virgin Mary Monastery in Gabrovo was demolished to create a garden-park for workers. Nowadays, the monastery is reminiscent of the old fountain opposite the moraine, dedicated to the Apostle Vasil Levski, and the pond with the lines, in the place of which was the altar of the monastery church.
