International Guitar Festival

Overview

Plovdiv GuitArt Festival is the largest and most anticipated guitar event in the Plovdiv region in November. The festival offers its fans fantastic concerts, master classes, lectures, an international classical guitar competition and various music workshops. The program features great world-famous guitarists - Pavel Steidl, Darko Bageski, Jack Hancher, Philip Mishkovich, Cheng Shi, Eleonora Perretta, Lovro Peretic, Vlatko Stefanovski and many others. No less exciting are the Bulgarian bands and performers included in the program: "Tsinga Manga Funk", "Pop & Rock Meets Jazz", "Alexander Lekov Trio" and others. The aim of the organizers is to present on the festival stages, together with the established names of world music culture and young artists - future stars. Plovdiv GuitArt Festival is part of the European Platform, co-financed by the Creative Europe Program of the European Union for the period 2017-2021.
