The house of Kassandra Bayatova in Plovdiv

Overview

The house was built in the late half of the 18th century, and it was established that another construction period was carried out in the second half of the 19th century. The plan of this two-storey house is typical for the asymmetrical type of houses from the Bulgarian Revival period. The composition is extremely original. The facade of the yard has a rich artistic decoration, the rooms are impressive in appearance, which contributes to their decorative decoration. The wooden ceilings of the rooms on both floors are complex geometric compositions. The facades of the house are painted linearly, and the decorative decoration on the interior walls also contains floral motifs. In 1948, arch. Hristo Peev performs construction works that mark an important moment in the development of the monument.
