Plovdiv State Puppet Theater

Overview

State Puppet Theater - Plovdiv was founded in 1946. The theater is a repertoire funded by the Ministry of Culture and is actively supported by the Municipality of Plovdiv. He is a holder of the Order of Cyril and Methodius - I degree. For 73 creative seasons by 2020, more than 340 titles have been played. Up to 5 new productions are realized annually, which are presented to not less than 30,000 spectators. The theater has traveled to over 40 countries, participated in many international festivals and won over 80 prestigious awards. Six of the theater's performances are in the "Golden Fund" of the Bulgarian National Television.
