Overview

Panayot Volov (1850-1876) is one of the most inspiring heroes of the Bulgarian movement for national Liberation.

Nowadays, his house in Shumen has been turned into a museum and the rooms have been restored as they were when he lived there. Documents, photos, and objects revealing the life of the great Bulgarian and his activity during the April Uprising are exhibited in a specially built exposition hall.
