Angel Kanchev House Museum - Tryavna
Overview
It was built in the early nineteenth century. Home of the revolutionary Angel Kanchev - a companion and faithful assistant of Vasil Levski in building the internal revolutionary organization. Only Angel's childhood is spent in this home. The family moved to the city of Ruse and Angel Kanchev had opportunities for a good education. But he is committed to the freedom of his homeland. "From now on, A.K. he remained with me in our work until the end, ”said the Apostle in September 1871. He had long ago judged the qualities of the young Angel Kanchev. The time of their joint activity was short - until the suicide of Angel Kanchev on March 5, 1872. The flame of the revolutionary struggle burned him very young - at the age of 22. The exposition also presents the participation of Tryavna residents in the national liberation struggles during the Revival.
