Alexander Poplilov House-Museum
Overview
The native house of Prof. Alexander Poplilov, where the famous Bulgarian artist spent his childhood and youth, was given to the Municipality of Kula by his wife after the artist's death. It was subsequently renovated and adapted for a gallery. It was officially opened to visitors in August 2007. In the house-museum "Alexander Poplilov" is arranged a city art gallery with paintings by Kul artists and artists from the Republic of Serbia, who visited the city during the annual plein airs of fine arts. Works by students majoring in "Poster and Visual Communication" from the Academy of Arts, where Prof. Alexander Poplilov was rector and longtime lecturer, are also exhibited. in the city.
