Ariana lake
Overview
Ariana Lake is a man-made lake created and is located at the bottom of Borisova Garden in Sofia.
The lake was constructed in the late 19th century and since then it has been a focal point for leisurely walks and entertainment. The lake shares its name with the Ariana brewery, which was located nearby until it was destroyed in 2004.
During the winter there is an annual ice rink, which has been operating since December 2013.
