Overview

Monument to Duke Sergei Leichtenberg Maximilianovich Romanovsky, on the site of which he was killed near the village of Jovan Chiflik (Ivanovo) on October 12, 1877. Fraternal mound of killed Russian soldiers: from the 130th Kherson Regiment 69, from the 132nd Bender Regiment 2, from the 12th Dragoon Starodub Regiment 8, from the 12th Don Cossack Regiment 7, from the 33rd Artillery Brigade 1, killed in the battles near the village on July 7 and 9 and October 9-12, 1877.
