Holy place of Thracian ruler of village of Sinemorets
Overview
Archaeologists have discovered a Thracian treasure near the Tsarevo village of Sinemorets, which belonged to the ruler of Strandzha before Christ.
The valuable find was discovered next to one of the walls of a palace, where the extremely rich Thracian ruler lived. Archaeologist Daniela Agre's team shared one of the hypotheses about the treasure with more than 200 silver coins, that it may have belonged to one of the heirs of Alexander, Lezimach or one of the later rulers.
One of the hypotheses is that the owner of the coastal palace also owned many of the jewels of the blue sea gold. The Thracian silver treasure will not be transferred to the National History Museum.
