Overview

The bust of Hristo Smirnenski is located in the garden in front of the Historical Museum complex, City Library in Krumovgrad. Its author is Vasil Pisanov. It was established in 1963. Hristo Dimitrov Izmirliev with the pseudonym Hristo Smirnenski is a Bulgarian poet. Smirnenski was an innovator of his time, who introduced the theme of the proletarian revolution in Bulgarian poetry, but the main idea was social injustice.
