Strelcha

Strelcha is a town in Central Bulgaria. It is located in Pazardzhik district and is close to the town of Panagyurishte and the town of Koprivshtitsa. The town is the administrative center of Strelcha municipality. An oil-bearing rose is grown in Strelcha. Here a thousand families cultivate 6,000 decares of roses. They are an important part of the local economy. In recent years, the Rose Festival has attracted many guests from all over the country and abroad to Strelcha. So it is no longer just an agricultural but also a tourist product.
