Sarnitsa

Sarnitsa is a town (since 2003) in Southern Bulgaria, which is the administrative center of Sarnitsa municipality (separated as an independent municipality since January 1, 2015 by decree of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria), Pazardzhik region. Next door passes the Dospat River, which is in the Dospat dam of the same name. Around the village there are many dense forests, represented mostly by pine and spruce. The town is located 22 km from Dospat, 46 km from Velingrad and 90 km from Pazardzhik District Center.
