Winery in the village of Belogradets

Overview

The winery was established in 2011. Unlike the usual in Bulgaria - wineries to create their own vineyards only recently, the winery was built to turn into fruit the fruit of their own 1000 acres of vineyards planted in 2006-2008. And the vineyards are located on the southern and southwestern slopes of the Novopazar plateau - in the land of the village of Belogradets, about 45 kilometers from Varna and the Black Sea. The cellar, of course, is next to the vineyards - at the end of the village. In one of the two Thracian mounds located next to the vineyards, archaeologists have found artifacts that show that more than 2,000 years ago, the ancient Thracians looked at vineyards and made wine in these places. And this is understandable - there is almost no other place in northern Bulgaria where the red varieties ripen so well and the white ones fully develop their character without losing their characteristic freshness.
