Puldin Wine Cellar

Overview

Vinograd AG, Perushtitsa is an old cellar with a rich tradition, located in the heart of the Southern wine region. It was founded in 1932 - 1933. as a cooperative for the purchase and processing of grapes, production and trade of high quality wines.

In 2003-2005. the company invests in new technological equipment in line with the latest trends in wine production.

The good geographical location of the Wine Cellar and the protection from great cold and winds, which Stara Planina provides from the north, favors the cultivation of red grapes - Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Rubin, as well as the unique Bulgarian variety Mavrud.

The production capacity for vinification is 1500 tons of wine grapes, and the bottling capacity is 10 000 000 bottles per year. The vessel's wine storage capacity is 7,000,000 liters.

The wine is produced by modern technology in rotofermenters with a volume of 35 cubic meters and fermenters type "Universal" with a volume of 45 cubic meters. The resulting wines are aged in "barrel" type oak barrels and in stainless steel vessels. The cellar also has a refrigeration system for temperature control during fermentation; it is equipped with a modern physico-chemical and microbiological laboratory. The bottling plant has 3 bottling lines with a capacity of 2000 bottles per hour each, as well as a wine filling machine in BIB packages.

Vinograd AG produces wine vinegar, the production of which is carried out by an in-depth method with a high degree of automation of the production process.
