Vazova eco-trail

Overview

The Vazova Eco-trail connects the villages of Gara Bov and Zasele and is the only road that can reach the Skaklya waterfall. Landscaped and safe, it offers tourists a paradise for relaxation and a divine view of the waterfall. Here, years ago, Ivan Vazov often walked around and right here he wrote some of his best works, including his heartfelt story "Grandpa Yotso watches", based on a prototype of a local resident. Hundreds of tourists follow in Vazov's footsteps every year. The official opening of the reconstructed eco-trail took place on April 29, 2007.
