ECO TRAIL POD KAMIKO

Overview

In 2012, a beautiful and picturesque eco-trail was built, which follows the broken and rocky valley of the Bovska River. The Pod Kamiko trail was built in 2012 under the project "Active Civil Communities through Community Center: Second Stage" of the AGORA Platform Association, funded by the America for Bulgaria Foundation.

The route is marked and starts from the football stadium of Gara Bov, climbs along the river Bovska and reaches the waterfall at "Kamiko" in the village of Bov, then descends along the old bike path to the fountain near "Chichero", continues to the remains from the monastery "St. Archangel Michael" and passing along the river Treskavets, returns to its starting point at the stadium of Gara Bov. The length of the trail is about 10 km, and the time required for its crawl is about 3 hours. It is accessible by transport from the village of Bov and from the village of Gara Bov. Along the trail there are several places for recreation, suitable for picnics and relaxation.
