Indipasha - rock sanctuary
Overview
Indipasha is an ancient Thracian rock sanctuary located near the village of Slivarovo in Strandzha Nature Park. In fact, it is a spring with healing water gushing from under an overhanging rock. The place is located in a deep valley. People drink from the water, rinse their eyes, because it is considered to be especially useful for vision problems. Attention - from the healing Strandzha spring waters drink a little, a sip a day. Some explain their beneficial effects with the presence of small doses of radiation, which, however, has not been scientifically proven. But it is a fact that if a person takes home water from Indipasha, it remains clear for several months and does not lose its taste. The rock sanctuary is believed to have been a cult site for more than 2,000 years, since the time of the Thracians. As for its strange name - one of the assumptions is that the name of the consecration means "after Easter" (after Easter), so the water was the most healing week after Easter. Another thesis is that it means "anti-Easter" (against Easter), but both assumptions are not based on concrete scientific evidence.
