The monument of Vasil Levski
Overview
The monument to Vasil Levski was erected in the city in 1974. The author of the project is the sculptor Rilcho Iliev, born in Levski. Among art critics, aesthetes and historians, this is considered to be one of the most successful interpretations of the image of the Apostle.
