Monument to the victory
Overview
The Victory Monument stands on the eastern part of the hill above Nikopol, erected in honor of 1,300 Russian and Romanian soldiers who lost their lives during the liberation of Bulgaria on July 15-16, 1877. This monument was built in the area of Kahaya Bashi in 1906, and has a very beautiful view of the Danube River.
