Gulyantsi Monument
Overview
The monument in the center of Gulyantsi was unveiled in 1916 in memory of those who died in 1912-1913 in the Balkan and Inter-Allied Wars. It is a pyramid built of granite and marble. The designer is Petar Kalmukov from the town of Ruse, and the contractor is Georgi Spasov - a stonemason. A stone with ox carts was used for the construction of the monument, dozens of people from Gulyan participated with voluntary work, according to the historical reference.
