The Forest of the Cross-Krastova Gora

Overview

The Forest of the Cross is one of the great Bulgarian Orthodox sanctuaries, where God abundantly transmits His grace. There are magical places in the Rhodopes, but on /The Forest of the Cross/ Krastova Gora, people say that miracles happen. The miracles that took place in this place nourish the legends about the particle of Christ's cross and the healing power of the water from the spring.

The monastery complex "Cross Forest - St. Trinity ”includes two churches:
"Protection of the Holy Mother of God" and "Holy Trinity" and 15 chapels.
The newly built monastery complex, the healing water from "Ayazmoto" and the legends attract to this holy place thousands of Bulgarians and foreigners who come here, on the Forest of the Cross to glorify God through their worship.
There is a liturgy every Friday night and Sunday noon.
For visitors, the monastery has rooms with two and three beds for about 100 people.
