Overview

The Church of the Holy Mother of God - Annunciation is also called "Ribnata" because of the fish in its spring.

An old temple, known for its dating from the XII-XIII century, but only part of the apse wall survives from the construction. The wealth of the citizens, and especially its subordination to the Bachkovo Holy Monastery, explain the fact that here the decoration is the work of non-random painters who worked in monasteries at that time.
