Kladnitsa Monastery "St. Nicholas"
Overview
The Kladnitsa Monastery "St. Nicholas" is a Bulgarian monastery located on the western slopes of Vitosha Mountain, about 1 km northeast of the village of Kladnitsa. residential and farm buildings. The church is a small one-nave, one-apse building with two conches, without a dome and was built in 1841, and its inner narthex - in 1866. To the west facade is attached a portico, acting as an open narthex. The church was painted in 1883 by Kosto Antikarov from Samokov. Includes scenes of customs, St. Trinity in the form of Trimurti and others. The monastery has been declared a cultural monument.
