Ethnographic complex Zlatograd
Overview
The Zlatograd area has been inhabited for thousands of years. It is from the Revival period and has been restored as a compact architectural reserve in the Rhodopes. Traditional houses impress not only with their whiteness and round chimneys, but also with the unique combination of their architectural elements. Craftsmanship is very well developed in the ethnographic area complex - Zlatograd. All workshops are open and you can buy authentic, handmade items or order a product, choose an interesting original gift for a loved one, you can even try to make it yourself. The ethnographic complex traditionally celebrates a number of Bulgarian holidays and customs - Trifon Zarezan, Baba Marta, Todorovden, Enyovden (June 24), Koledari and others. The ethnographic area complex is part of the Hundred National Tourist Sites.
