Ethnographic and Craft Center Guild "Sopot Esnaf"

Overview

Ethnographic and Craft Center Guild "Sopot Esnaf" is located in two Revival houses in the center of Sopot. The museum is part of the Ivan Vazov House-Museum and the Association of Sopot Masters and Connoisseurs of Arts and Crafts.
Mission:
Ethnographic and Craft Center Guild "Sopot Esnaf" aims to preserve and revive old traditions. The museum's expositions include reconstructions of Revival rooms. Restoration of a room with a fireplace called "houses". Here is the table paralysis, around which family members gathered, as well as the dishes used by our great-grandparents. They not only present the Bulgarian way of life, but also reveal the rich Bulgarian soul and the feeling of the real Bulgaria.

The loom and the baby swing are dispayed in the Women's Room. In this room, the women wove and looked after their children.

In the basement are exhibited original vessels for the preparation and storage of winter food, agricultural tools and items related to home crafts and livelihood. Visitors can also see the restoration of a guest city room from the late XIX-early XX century.
