Dyado Stoyanova's mill
Overview
Dyado Stoyanova's mill is described by Ivan Vazov in his novel "Under the Yoke". It is located in the northwestern part of Sopot, in the Balkan Mountains. It is located next to the road leading to the chair lift, about 150 meters from the monastery of St. Spas.
The novel tells how in this mill Boycho Ognyanov killed two Turks because they tried to tarnish the honor of the miller's little daughter.
Now, Dyado Stoyanova's milll has been completely restored.
