Dobrovanski gabi ( Dobrovan Stone Mushrooms)

Overview

Dobrovanski gabi (Dobrovan mushrooms) are three rock formations in the shape of giant mushrooms, located on the hills around the old village of Dobrovan. Тhe village no longer exists.

The stone formations are located 10m from one another. The biggest and the most beautiful one is the middle mushroom, with height of 4m. Their formation is due to the different solidity of the sandy layers and the atmospheric processes which affected them over the years. There is a ladder that you can climb to the top, which reveals a beautiful view. The other two rock formations are lower.

Dobrovanski gabi are especially impressive and are declared a natural landmark. They are 10 km away from the village of Sini rid and are close to the Pomorie village of Kozichino.
