Vatovo

Vatovo (local pronunciation: Vyatovo) is a town in northern Bulgaria, Rousse district, administrative center of Vetovo municipality, 3rd in population in the district after Rousse and Byala. The population is mainly Bulgarians, Turks and Crimean Tatars. There are also gypsies professing Islam and the so-called "burgundians" - gypsies who profess the Christian religion and are mainly blacksmiths.
