Overview

Medi Vallley is a classic wine complex, built in 2007. It is located in the village of Smochevo, at the foot of southwestern Rila, at 630 m above sea level, in the northernmost part of the valley of the river Struma, on the picturesque road to the Rila Monastery. It consists of a modern wine cellar and 370 decares of vineyards, planted with Chardonnay, Traminer, Sauvignon Blanc, two branches of Merlot and two branches of Cabernet Sauvignon. Medi Valley is located in a picturesque area on the road to the Rila Monastery. From here begins the southwestern wine region, known as the Struma Valley. The attractive geographical location of the winery, the conditions it has and the extremely good wines it offers, awarded with prestigious prizes at national and international competitions make Medi Valley the most charming new destination for wine tourism.
